The Amphibian Rovers

This Series IIA belongs to the Dunsfold Trust is shown here at the 1998 Billing show. The sidebags are still not inflated (this photo was taken on Thursday evening before show started and before Philipp Bashall wetted it)). Later he found out that the bags didn't hold the air as good as he thought.

In that year they tried it out (again) at the lake and almost sunk it (again). :-) Hey, Philipp, it was not your fault and what a great car this is! But replace that rubber handbrake gaiter.

Drive is by a propeller mounted between the rear diff and propshaft but steering is done by the wheels.
