This page is dedicated to those who improved navigation on the seven seas dedicating their lives to engineer the seemingly impossible.
Lighthouses were built during the 19th century on bare offshore rocks, on hostile promontories and far away from provisions.

This is my small contribute to the engeneers who brought the light to coasts and harbours. May their work never be forgotten and may these lighthouses still light the sea in 100 years.
